Eurodrive – General Information

Off to Europe? Drive Europe TAX-FREE!

What is a tax-free car lease in Europe?

A TAX-FREE car, for short-term lease, is a temporary tourist ownership scheme – owning a brand new left hand drive current model vehicle from the factory for less than the cost of a hire car.

You choose the car to suit your needs, from our extensive range of brand new Renault, Peugeot or Citroen cars for the nominated period ranging from a minimum 21 days up to the maximum of 6 months.

It is registered and insured in your name with nil insurance excess, unlimited kms and 24hr roadside assistance.

You pay us here, in Australian dollars, absolutely tax-free and we guarantee the price from time of booking right up to time of delivery, whilst at the same time protecting you from possible exchange rate variations and/or manufacturer price increases, up to 12 months ahead.

35 European loactions for delivery/return depots. FREE pick up and return in France. European locations available with surcharge.

Hassle free factory direct delivery. All paperwork and payment is completed before departure.

  • No hidden extras.
  • No GST and No European Taxes.
  • No additional driver fees.
  • No upper age limit.

Enjoy the opportunity to experience Europe at your leisure with the freedom and security to travel away from the high-density public transport and the flexibility to travel from country to country (providing it is within a nominated insured country), without restrictions, fees or surcharges that you get with a hire car.

At the end of your lease period, simply return the vehicle to one of the many locations throughout Europe and your responsibility ends there.

A brand new vehicle… Choose from sedans, coupes, convertibles, wagons, MPV, mini-vans, people movers and 4WD.

Regulations and seat fittings in Europe for child seats and restraints differ from those in Australia.

The European regulation and mounting system is known as ISOFIX and the seats in Australia do not have ISOFIX mountings on them and will therefore not be acceptable for the European regulations and vehicles.

You will need to choose a seat according to the child’s age and  weight.

In France all children under 10 years must be in a child restraint, based on their weight.
